The client
As a traditional company, Witzenmann belongs to the leading suppliers in the automobile industry. Witzenmann has the most extensive product range of flexible metallic elements worldwide. This range is complemented by a coordinated supplementary range. Witzenmann has product competence in pipelines. From suspending pipelines, via the pipeline replacement up to pipeline storage.
The task
It was the aim to adapt the company's Corporate Design for the Internet and to inform interested users about the product portfolio and additional services.
The implementation
A homogenous web entrance was created by the new design and the integration of the so far separated marketing site and the product and company website, which combines technically orientated pages with information about products, technical data sheets and innovations as well as explaining Witzenmann’s company philosophy and history.
The details
The website was newly designed, visually and structurally. The technological basis is a database supported PHP4 system. The website was constructed within the CMS of RedDot Solutions AG. Overall, more than twelve language versions and subsidiary contents (amongst others Polish and Chinese) have to be maintained via a dedicated RedDot-Server. Employees of Witzenmann are thereby in a position to process and to generate contents. An interposed staging server allows the acceptance of changes before these are provided live. Dynamically generated contents and static marketing contents are combined on the server in an integrated manner.
The functionalities
Online order:
Marketing leaflets, handbooks, and brochures can be ordered directly via the website. Any e-mails, which are generated from the order system, are sent to a central address of the Customer Services.
Full text search:
A keyword oriented full text search enables the search of all contents included on the website und provides a direct link to the result page.
