The task
The future-oriented alignment of the company should also become evident from its internet presence. Short-term changes in the market, fast-moving innovations, and an improved service were the reasons, which required a relaunch of their website. What was of particular importance for Classen-Papier was the relaying of their design competence.
The implementation
The relaunch of the web presence is not only the expression of the design competence of the paper wholesaler, but also offers the client numerous new service components. Particular importance was attached to a detailed presentation of their product portfolio. In addition, a sample express, a web sale and news area were integrated.
The details
The website was completely newly designed - visually and structurally. The technological basis is a database supported PHP4-System and the Content Management System WebEdition. An interposed staging server allows for the acceptance of changes before these are provided live. Dynamically generated contents and static marketing contents are combined on the server in an integrated manner.
The functionalities
Online order:
Samples of all available types of paper can be ordered directly via the website. Any e-mails, which are generated from the order system, are sent to a central address of the Customer Services.
Full text search:
A keyword oriented full text search enables the search of all contents included on the website und provides a direct link o the result page.
