communicode develops "Service Plus" configurator for Schroff

Within the scope of its programme"Service Plus", Schroff hat has implemented a configurator, which permits the simple compilation of products and associated peripheral items in the area of server cabinets, enclosure cases, embedded systems and power supply units. That way, basic parameters such as height, width or depth can be defined in advance via control in ASIM^®. By selecting the required basic parameters, the client is able to configure an individual server cabinet. Accessories and additional components are outlined in a subordinate procedure, on the basis of which a parts list will be compiled at the end.

Modern web technology is based on the AJAX system, which does not rebuild the website every time a new parameter is added, but only amends it when adding extra ones. By introducing this extensive additional functionality, the company has been able to significantly increase user friendliness and customer satisfaction as a result.
