communicode creates new literature library for pump manufacturer WILO

When it comes to the sale of products, customer service nowadays is the be-all and end-all. For that reason, from April 2008, the strongly customer oriented manufacturer WILO will make an improved download facility available to its customers. It is the manufacturer's aim to provide all users of the website with access to technical information that is relevant for any pump systems in need of explanation. This enables the user to look for product documents and to put them, similar to an order, into the shopping basket. Afterwards, individual or several documents can be downloaded - all of it totally free of charge. In November 2007, the pump manufacturer WILO decided on drawing on the services of the Essen-based e-Business service provider communicode that has a reputation in the world of ECM providers for being an experienced specialist for integrated applications based on Product Information Management.

The website will be maintained by Product Information Management ASIM^®, introduced by WILO that stores all product data sheets and additional information in a media neutral format, which it will, according to requirements, make available via standard XML export. Subsequently, all information will be presented to the user for download via an external link on the website. To see all product documents in different languages is another option; i.e. the user is able to switch languages directly via a language selection box.
