communicode wins the RedDot Innovation Award 2007

Based on the most innovative expansion in the product development for Content Management Systems, the RedDot Innovation Award is awarded annually by an independent expert jury of Messrs. RedDot, Europe's WCM market leader.

Danaher Motion had given communicode the mandate to globally relaunch their corporate and specific website. Apart from transferring all existing documents (operating instructions, press briefings, software) and their meta information to XCMS 7.0 (live link) in order to develop a global Internet presense, the particular challenge lay in creating search engine optimized URLs as well as in integrating the Extranet. Another task was the integration of translation agencies with TMS (Translation Memory System) to create several language variants (e.g. Italian and Chinese).

Communicode is the first RedDot premium partner to use the new version of RedDot XCMS 7.0 (Live Link Bridge) in an international project. In cooperation with RedDot Solutions, the entire system was, for the first time, utilized, tested and further developed. The application of Navigation Manager, which is used via Drag and Drop to produce and sort sites, as well as the use of site definitions simplify both maintenance and the expansion of the system for the responsible authors and sitebuilders.
