Per click to the dream job – communicode realizes DEICHMANN career portal

The dream job is just one click away: the new career portal of Europe's largest retailer is online with immediate effect. Under hr.deichmann.com job seekers will be able to receive information about vacant apprenticeships, placements or job offers of DEICHMANN.
The career portal offers in particular many different advantages for special departments within DEICHMANN: with immediate effect any placing of job adverts can be controlled centrally via one single application. The easy creation and maintenance of individual pages is managed by the Content Management System RedDot CMS Server 7.0 of Oldenburg based company RedDot. A pre-defined template enables all responsible employees to create and maintain individual job adverts in a speedy and flexible manner. Apart from that editors will be able to control the issue periods of the live deployment of the individual pages.

On the website, all placed job offers will be available to interested applicants both as print and PDF version. The basis for the creation of these documents are the contents from RedDot CMS, which are exported as a project variant in XML and then integrated into a fixed defined layout within the DEICHMANN Corporate Design. That way it will be guaranteed that the publication of all adverts - both online and the print version - will have an optically unified appearance.

The Essen-based online agency communicode is responsible for the implementation of the DEICHMANN career portal. Since August 2003 communicode as the lead agency has been in charge of all online activities of the Deichmann group in Germany, Great Britain, Poland and the Netherlands. The range of services for Deichmann includes among others strategic consultation, visual conception, text as well as the regular updating of all online presences.
