Carl Roth expands online range: communicode puts catalogue for Polish market on the Internet
With immediate effect, Polish customers of the Chemistry and Life Science Company Carl Roth will be able to browse the online catalogue in their own native language under www.carlroth.pl. Thereby the Karlsruhe-based company extents its multilingual Internet presence (German, English, French and Dutch) by an additional language.
The online version of the Polish catalogue provides users with various benefits: the integration of search functions enables users to access their required products quickly and easy. In addition, special offers and information material for the various product groups are available as PDF files for downloading. The administration of Carl Roth's product information is carried out on the basis of the Product Information Management System ASIM from DHW, Waiblingen. All images and information about the products are generated directly from the PIM system. The basis of the online shop for the Polish market is the ASIM module "ASIM InstantWeb" which has been developed by communicode. This module enables Carl Roth to offer his customers special products with up-to-the-minute prices and availabilities on the Internet. Personalised functionalities (such as individual shopping baskets) are available to users in a password protected area. The favourites bar of the product catalogue can be arranged individually. Apart from that the customer has the option of making personal settings (master data, bookmarks etc.).
The Enterprise Content Management (ECM) RedDot® by RedDot Solutions enables the easy and flexible maintenance of the Carl Roth website. In addition, the system provides the advantage that also unstructured contents (marketing information, news, campaigns etc.) can be edited and deployed online.
